The DW Dixon Saddles "Slemp Cow Horse Saddle" is built on a Buster Welch Ranch Roper Tree with a #4 dally horn, 3 inch cantle, large square skirts and Shimon Bars. The leather is brown Wickett & Craig saddle skirting with a Running W Border. This saddle also includes our bullet proof inskirt rigging, a leather cheyenne roll, breast collar dees, a 3 inch latigo lined rear cinch, 6-1.5 inch Montana Silver conchos, cutter fenders, twisted & wrapped stirrup leathers, 3 inch Nettle stirrups and one latigo & one half breed. The saddle can be ordered from 14.5 inch to 16.5 inch seat size. This saddle as described is $3200 complete.
This saddle features a US made wood tree - rawhide covered and rawhide laced. The tree has custom cut bars that fit a wide variety of horses. US tanned saddle skirting is used for leather. All hardware is stainless steel. The ground seat is narrow, secure and comfortable. The bullet proof inskirt rigging allows free swinging stirrup movement and less bulk under your leg, yet strong enough for roping. The saddle is made cowboy strong but beautiful enough for the show pen. Each saddle is individually made in our shop by David Dixon.
